A self-paced programme for working with fear of cancer coming back — six modules with worksheets, seven short videos, and two guided audio practices, designed to be worked through at your own pace, in your own time, in your own home.

Description

Tools for Fear of Recurrence is a self-paced programme for working with fear of cancer coming back. The skills draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and metacognitive approaches — the same body of work that informs treatments offered in clinical settings — adapted into a format you can work through at your own pace, in your own time, in your own home.

The programme consists of six modules. Each one introduces a set of skills, supported by an information sheet and a worksheet. Two of the modules also include a guided audio practice. The programme is designed to be worked through in sequence, at your own pace, and in private.

What you receive

A workbook containing the Welcome, all six modules (information sheets and worksheets), and a closing Toolbox with a personalised practice plan and a printable card. Plus two guided audio practices — the Sushi Train and the Flashlight — approximately ten minutes each.

Everything is delivered immediately upon purchase. The materials are yours to keep, work through at your own pace, and return to whenever you need them.

Where to start: open the Welcome document first. It gives you the background and the recommended path through the programme. From there, Module 1 is the foundational module that everything else builds on.
There is no rush. Most people work through one module per week, but the materials are yours to use at your own pace, in your own time.
